This picture entitled "Spirit of Uisneach" shows the extent of the energetic influence emanating from the Hill of Uisneach in the center of Ireland. In Irish mythology, Uisneach was considered to be the mystical navel of Ireland, upon which rested a great stone (Ail na Muireann, which means "stone of divisions") which was said to indicate the meeting point of the provincial borders of Leinster, Munster, Connacht, Ulster, and Mide (which was once a separate, fifth province).
